And you don’t get a rock star more hardworking or straight-talking than Status Quo’s Francis Rossi. He doodled his way – literally, he was scribbling away furiously – through an exclusive Rocktober interview in which he bluntly stated that the Quo are not a patch on The Beatles (despite breaking one of their world records) and that he is no guitar nerd. He said: “I’m not one of those men who wants to be buried with his guitar – it’s a lump of wood with a pick up on it!” But, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t spend many hours every day on it....
